Moraine Lake is even more beautiful in person than it is in this photo. The water really is that blue, the mountains tower over you, and the air smells like Christmas from all the lovely pine trees.

Lake Louise is another breathtaking glacial lake surrounded by the towering Canadian Rockies. In the summer, you can wade or even swim in its icy waters while soaking in the incredible scenery.

Peyto Lake is an iconic stop along the Icefields Parkway. It takes a short but steep hike to reach the viewpoint, but the reward—an unforgettable view of the turquoise, wolf-shaped lake—is worth every step.

Bow Lake is another stunning spot along the Icefields Parkway, and no hike is required to enjoy its views. It’s a great place for a peaceful stroll along the shore, a quick swim, or a moment of rest in a hammock near the water’s edge.

Standing on the Athabasca Glacier is a bucket-list experience. I’ll never forget the sound of ice crunching beneath my feet, the rush of glacial melt streams, and the towering snow-capped peaks surrounding me.

Reaching the top of the Little Beehive hike at Lake Louise took effort, but it was absolutely worth it. The 360-degree views of the surrounding snowy peaks and the turquoise waters of Lake Louise below are simply breathtaking.

The climb to the top of Tunnel Mountain offers spectacular views the whole way up. From the summit, you can see the town of Banff below and the Bow River snaking through the valley.

The Three Sisters are a stunning trio of peaks visible from Canmore. They’re an iconic part of the landscape and a favorite backdrop for both locals and visitors exploring the town.

The Bow River runs through Canmore, offering peaceful spots to relax and take in the views. Watching the sun set over the mountains here is a memory I’ll always cherish.

Johnston Canyon is a beautiful, family-friendly hike through the forest and along the river, ending at a powerful, rushing waterfall. Walking across the bridge and through the cave for the waterfall viewpoint is a unique and memorable experience.
